This Privacy Policy applies to the Writezy apps, including:
Writezy is a children's handwriting and tracing learning application. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app stores, how that information is used, and what choices parents, guardians, teachers, and users have.
Writezy is designed to work primarily on the device.
The app may store the following information locally on the user's device:
This information is stored locally using on-device app storage to support core app features such as continuing progress and personalizing the learning experience.
Writezy uses locally stored information to:
In the current implementation, Writezy does not intentionally collect or transmit the following to the developer's own servers:
The app also does not require a user login account to use its core features.
Writezy uses text-to-speech functionality so instructions and learning prompts can be spoken aloud.
This feature may rely on the text-to-speech engine available on the user's device or operating system. Depending on the device configuration and provider, text submitted for speech playback may be processed according to the privacy practices of the operating system, device manufacturer, or speech engine provider.
Writezy itself does not add its own server-side voice processing in the current implementation.
Learning data is stored locally on the device unless the user removes it.
Data may remain on the device until one of the following happens:
Writezy is designed for handwriting learning activities for children, but it should be set up and managed by a parent, guardian, teacher, or other responsible adult where required.
The app is designed to minimize data collection by keeping learning information locally on the device.
In the current implementation, Writezy does not sell personal information and does not share locally stored learning data with the developer's own backend services because the app does not currently use a dedicated backend service for user accounts or cloud sync.
However, third-party platform services used by the device or operating system, such as the system text-to-speech engine, may apply their own terms and privacy practices.
We aim to keep the app simple and privacy-conscious by storing data locally on the device. However, no software or device environment can guarantee absolute security. Users are responsible for helping protect access to their devices.
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect app changes, legal requirements, or operational updates. When updated, the revised version should be published on the website or distribution page where users can access it.
